    NO TRYOUTS! - Pop Warner program have no tryouts or cutting of rosters

A: PWLS Inc. is the only National youth sports organization in America that requires its participants to perform adequately in the classroom.  Each year, participants must supply their last report card to prove that they have met the minimum standards of 2.0 GPA.

A: Kids compete with other kids of similar age and size.  Pop Warner Football is the only youth football program that sets and enforces a strict Age & Weight Matrix that reduces the risk and reality of injuries.

A:  Pop Warner Football has 12% fewer injuries than per capita than among 5 – 15 year olds than organized soccer in the same age range.

A:  All Coaches, football players, cheerleaders and Parents must abide by a Code of Conduct which includes several provisions.  If any of these rules are broken, the League shall have the authority to impose a penalty.

A:  Everyone participates under the Mandatory Play Rules.  Each team has a minimum play amount that each player is required to play based off of the team size.

A: Pop Warner programs have NO tryouts or cutting of rosters.

A: All coaches must be certified by USA Football and attend coaching clinics setup by the League.  Also, all volunteers that have contact with the children must have a Background check conducted every year before the start of the season.
